Preview screening: Half of a Yellow Sun

Salt Magazine, in conjuction with Leap Frog Films, will be hosting a special preview screening of Half of a Yellow Sun.

Based on the novel of the same name by Nigerian author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, the film covers the human aspect of the Nigerian Civil War, which resulted from the attempted secession of several south eastern provinces of Nigeria into the Republic of Biafra.

Starring Oscar nominated actor Chiwetel Ejiofor (Twelve Years a Slave) and International star Thandie Newton (The Pursuit of Happyness), the film is due for general release across Australia on 27 March 2014 but we are pleased to bring you a special preview screening:

DATE: Monday 24 March 2014
TIME: 7pm
VENUE: Picadilly Cinemas, North Adelaide

The proceeds from this screening will be donated to Team Vista whose projects support those living in poverty in Moshi, Tanzania.
