Africa Day Friendship Cup – MELBOURNE

Springers Leisure centre, Keysborough Dandenong is the venue for the Africa Day Sports Festival.
In partnership with YMCA and City of Melbourne, The North Melbourne Football Club and the Huddle, City of Melbourne (Active Melbourne), and YMCA at JJ Holland Park. Among the several sports to be enjoyed by all is basketball, netball, athletics (5 km walk or run), and a soccer competition among representatives of various African-Australians for the Africa Day Cup. Free Event

Start time on the Dot 10:00am and conclude at award Ceremony at 4:00pm

The following activities include:

• Basketball 1:00-4:30 p.m (4 teams; regulation over 18s)
• First game is at 1pm – 1:40pm (2 x 15 min) and 10 min halftime
• Second game 1:45pm – 2:20pm
• Clinic/Three point shoot out:  2:25pm –  2:55pm
• Third place game: 3pm- 3:40pm
• Finals game:  3:45pm – 4:20pm
• Presentation: 4:30pm
