Countdown to Crowning Miss Africa South Australia is on…

This Saturday Miss Africa South Australia 2013 will be crowned at the Italian Centre in Adelaide. Event organisers are certain the audience will be wowed by the African beauty, culture, fashion, music and dance that will be on show.

The girls have been in preparation mode for some time now honing their skills to strut the runway, and the million dollar question is “Who is going to wear the crown in this much anticipated beauty contest?”

SALT Magazine was at one of the rehearsals and spoke with two of the contestants Faith Abio and Cara Mkoka about their expectations as the event fast approaches. Both girls were excited and nervous about the experience as it is their first time in the limelight.

They would be happy to take on modelling as a career if they got the chance, and this year’s winner will receive $500 plus a scholarship for a modelling course at Tanya Powell Modelling Agency.

We wish all contestants good luck and look forward to interviewing the winner and then sharing the story and all the best photos with our readers.
