FreekÀ Runway

FreekÁ Runway is set to wow Melbournians on the 13th of June 2015 at Lot Four Studios in Cremorne. The African inspired runway event is an opportunity for creatives to express themselves and celebrate African Australian talents in entertainment, fashion, dance, art and music.

According to the event organiser, Mati Chinyanda, the event will showcase the diverse vibrant African culture residing in Australia. The show will include 10 designers comprising a mixture of upcoming and established brands. Guests will be treated to a special performance by JoysSoul, lead singer of Magic House and a dance performance from Cirque Africa who begin their Australian Tour at the end of this month.

Melbourne’s renown African food truck Afrofeast will be on standby to spice up the evening with some aromatic dishes as well as African beverages.

SALT magazine looks forward to this event and will be there to share with our readers the highlights of the occasion.
